Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program at UT Austin or another accredited institution.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor processing or microfabrication techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately document experimental procedures and results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform semiconductor processing activities in a cleanroom environment while following all safety and operational procedures.
  • Assist with photolithography mask design, ordering, and wafer patterning activities.
  • Prepare silicon, glass, and other substrates by applying photoresist coatings using spin coating equipment.
  • Operate lithography and related fabrication equipment to process 4-inch to 8-inch wafers.
  • Develop and inspect photoresist patterns using appropriate processing methods and chemicals.
  • Execute and document Design of Experiments (DOE), maintaining accurate records of process parameters and results.
  • Other duties as assigned
