Qualifications

• Must have no convictions of a felony or past criminal history.
• Must be in good health evidenced by completion of a physical examination as prescribed by the Board.
• Candidates possessing both administrative and school counselor certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Counseling Program
• Oversee FRYSC/YSC Program
• Homeless Coordinator
• District Crisis Response Team Lead - Organize response to crisis and coordinate with district and school leaders
• Threat Assessment Team Lead - Provide training, consultation, and guidance for school-based Threat Assessment Teams
• Suicide Prevention Training Lead - Collaborate with school counselors and assist with resources for Suicide Prevention Training for students and staff
• Develop and Oversee the District Trauma-Informed Care Plan
• Organize and oversee Fall/Spring Mental Health Screener and SEL Surveys with collaboration across departments
