Job summary

Three Rivers Community Schools is seeking a Building Aide to support student safety during school shifts, recess, and meals. You will supervise behavior, escort students, and help maintain a positive, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with cafeteria operations, organizing play materials, reporting hazards, and helping with light custodial tasks as needed. This position follows the TRCS academic calendar and offers shift hours aligned with the district schedule, up to 180

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with children in a school setting or childcare is a plus.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to enforce rules fairly and calmly.
• Basic first-aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students on playground, cafeteria, and throughout the school environment, ensuring safety.
• Enforce behavior expectations and intervene in conflicts.
• Provide positive reinforcement to support an inclusive environment.
• Assist with cafeteria operations, monitor lines, and ensure hygiene practices.
• Respond to minor injuries and report hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain order during transitions to and from the playground and supervise indoor recess.
• Move furniture and supplies as needed and relocate as required.
