Job summary

RSU 40/MSAD 40 SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Duty Aide to help supervise students in the cafeteria and on the playground during lunch and recess. Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Previous experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guiding groups of students to/from cafeteria and playground.
• Assisting younger children in getting lunch trays, milk and condiments.
• Helping children in opening lunch items.
• Monitoring student behavior and providing appropriate discipline as necessary within guidelines of school rules.
• Assisting students in cleaning up after themselves.
• Monitoring students for safety and appropriate behavior on the playground.
• Other duties as assigned to assist staff of the school during lunch breaks.
