Job summary

Middlebury College on-campus rental shop is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Rental Technician to assist guests with rental equipment and explain safe use. The position requires completion of PCI DSS training and signing of the PCI Security Awareness and Confidentiality Agreement for campus personnel with access to credit card information.

This is a Middlebury student Level A position paying $14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be a student eligible for on-campus employment.
• PCI DSS training and signing of PCI Security Awareness Agreement required if handling credit card information.
• Prior experience is welcome but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the rental shop.
• Ensure rental forms are completed accurately.
• Determine proper boot fit for customers.
• Recommend ski/board length and ensure bindings match skill level.
• Provide resort information to guests.
• Check rentals for damage on return.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and proper equipment storage.
