Eastern Oregon University is seeking an Admissions Counselor to represent the university to prospective students and families, develop recruitment initiatives, and manage programs across assigned geographic territories. You will present to large and small groups, plan recruitment travel, and support campus visit programs.

The role requires strong communication and public speaking skills, experience in outreach, and the ability to track data and expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or equivalent.
• Experience working with high school, community college, non-traditional, or underrepresented student populations is desirable.
• Knowledge of undergraduate student experiences, admissions requirements, financial aid, and transfer programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research assigned territories and address the needs of prospective students.
• Serve as the main contact for high school and transfer students seeking an undergraduate degree.
• Develop and maintain recruitment plans and track success of initiatives.
• Use software to track communications with students and analyze trends.
• Advise on EOU undergraduate studies and admissions policies.
