• Bachelor's degree with admissions counseling or student outreach experience preferred.
• Strong cross-cultural interpersonal and writing skills.
• Public speaking and representing the university positively to diverse populations.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Associate Director with strategic communications to high schools and counselors.
• Represent the University on- and off-campus at fairs, visits, and events.
• Plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned high schools and territories, including travel.
• Collaborate with two-year and community colleges to increase transfer enrollment.
• Counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process through various channels.
• Review and score application essays and materials for admission decisions.
• Coordinate student visit programs to recruit targeted applicants.
• Assist in developing and delivering on-campus events for counseling groups.
