Job summary

SolutionHealth in New Hampshire is seeking a motivated radiologic technologist trainee to join our department on a per diem basis. You will perform radiographic procedures in alignment with ASRT standards and assist licensed practitioners during interventional procedures.

Enrollment in an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist program is required, with a temporary Medical Imaging license upon graduation. Orientation includes BLS certification, which must be maintained throughout employment.

• Enrollment in a formal Radiologic Technologist training program from an AMA approved school.
• Upon graduation, employee is required to obtain a temporary Medical Imaging license.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.

About the Job

The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

What You’ll Do

• Performs radiography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) “Radiography Practice Standards” and the ASRT “Code of Ethics”.
• Assists the licensed practitioner in the completion of interventional procedures
• Works under the direction of the staff radiologic technologist
• Completes annual mandatory education on time.

Who You Are

• Enrollment in a formal Radiological Technologist training program from an AMA approved school.
• Upon graduation from formal Radiological Technologist training program, employee is required to obtain a temporary Medical Imaging license
