Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist. Under supervision of a registered radiographer, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and coordinate routine imaging tasks while maintaining patient safety and equipment readiness.

The role supports the Diagnostic Radiology department at the Royal Oak site with flexible hours, including weekends as noted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of relevant imaging experience or completion of first year in an accredited imaging program preferred.
• CRT-BLS required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer.
• Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain supply and equipment readiness before and after procedures.

Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Scope of Work

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
