Job summary

Oregon State University’s College of Liberal Arts (CLA) seeks a Student Photographer to create engaging visual assets for CLA websites, social media campaigns, and printed materials. You will shoot people, events, and activities that represent the college, while supporting senior designers on larger projects.

The role emphasizes flexible hours (up to 24 per week), collaboration with CLA’s Marketing and Communications team, and opportunities to develop a strong portfolio and career-ready skills

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a college or university
• Must meet minimum enrollment standards as a student employee
• Strong portfolio of photo samples
• Availability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• 80% photography scheduling, shooting high-quality images for social media and print materials
• Direct photo shoots or work under department direction
• 15% editing photos using preferred software
• 5% manage visual assets, cataloging and keywording photos/videos
• Secure and manage model releases for shoots
