Lutheran Health Network seeks a Student Intern in Neuroscience Med Surg at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. This PRN role supports RN staff with patient care, charting, and timely data collection during 1–12 hour shifts each week, aimed at students nearing graduation.

The position provides hands-on experience under RN supervision, focusing on safety, communication, infection control, and collaboration within the care team until graduation.

Formación

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required or preferred
• CPCT/CNA certifications are preferred or as applicable to role

Responsabilidades

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs, reporting findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, activities of daily living, hygiene, and mobility.
• Maintains infection control practices and accurate documentation.
