Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of acute care experience or enrolled in a nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs and other patient data, reporting to RN/LPN.
• Assists with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and hygiene.
• Aids patient positioning, mobility, and use of walkers or wheelchairs.
• Collects specimens and performs glucose monitoring, documenting results.
• Communicates patient information to the care team clearly and professionally.
• Maintains infection control practices and PPE usage.
• Supports performance improvement and risk management initiatives.
