Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Spine Med Surg team on a PRN, 0.2 FTE basis with a 7a-7p shift. The unit provides 24 beds with supportive leadership and collaborative teamwork.

The RN delivers patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinates with physicians and staff, administers medications, supports families, and participates in audits and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license and current state credentials.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Familiarity with the nursing process and patient education.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications, monitor side effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety standards.
• Support audits and compliance checks to ensure standards are met.
