The Peer Advisor will serve as a reliable point of contact, helping students identify opportunities, complete next steps, and connect with program or community support. This role suits organized, empathetic individuals dedicated to student success.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring across subjects such as math, English, and history.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with students.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking.
• Ability to document caseloads and complete surveys accurately.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive, respectful relationships with assigned students.
• Provide consistent communication within established program timelines.
• Follow through on next steps and maintain caseload documentation.
• Use up-to-date information and resources when guiding students.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries and approved communication methods.
• Complete all required documentation and updates.
• Seek support when a student situation is unclear or urgent.
• Represent the program professionally in all interactions.
