Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an SFBU student in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with or ability to quickly learn website design tools (e.g., Google Sites, Wix, WordPress) and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
• A genuine commitment to promoting student welfare and reducing hunger/clothing insecurity on campus.

Responsibilities

• Pantry Operations and Organization
• Inventory Management: regularly clean, sort, and organize donated food and clothing items
• Quality Control: monitor expiration dates and item condition
• Stocking and Display: keep shelves and racks tidy and accessible
• Supply Needs: report inventory levels and suggest replenishment
• Website Development & Maintenance: build and update a site showing items, hours, eligibility
• Virtual Inventory: create a simple system to catalog items
• Digital Outreach: manage online channels to inform students about services, drives, and opportunities
• Campaign Creation: develop marketing strategies to raise awareness and usage
• Event Planning: coordinate outreach events and donation drives
• Resource Development: create flyers and digital content
• Frontline Service: be the welcoming point of contact for pantry users
• Confidentiality: adhere to privacy protocols
• Partnership Engagement: monthly 2-4 hour shifts at partner food bank
• Feedback Collection: gather student input on pantry needs
• Community Liaison: represent pantry to student groups and campus departments
