Job summary

UHP—Unlock Human Potential — seeks a Student Outcomes Coordinator to guide veterans and transitioning service members from initial career conversations through placement and post-graduation follow-up. You will own a cohort, build relationships quickly, and help students identify opportunities, prepare for employers, and navigate the civilian hiring process.

You will manage student profiles, deliver readiness sessions, and coordinate interviews with employer partners, ensuring timely follow-ups

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in career services or related field.
• Exceptional organization for managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and ability to build trust.
• Confidence conducting structured conversations in person, by phone, video, and email.
• Strong follow-through and personal accountability.
• Commitment to veterans and transitioning service members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Career Compass and outcomes conversations with students to understand experience, goals, and location preferences.
• Lead 1:1 career sessions focused on targeting, resumes, LinkedIn positioning, interview prep, networking, and career navigation.
• Build and maintain Student Profiles to connect students with employer partners.
• Deliver career-readiness sessions on recruiting, interviewing, LinkedIn, networking, and civilian hiring processes.
• Own the active job-search process for assigned students through placement and track progress.
• Coordinate interviews and placement activity with the Director of Next Command and UHP employer partners.
• Proactively engage students who are stalled and help develop a path forward.
• Maintain accurate placement documentation and outcomes data for compliance.
