This position is part of the Student Organizations unit within the Office of the Dean of Students.
Purpose: The Student Associate will serve as a primary point of contact for student organizations, providing accurate information and answering questions about Student Organizations services and resources. Based in the Student Organization Center (SOC), this hands-on, student-facing role supports student organizations through workshops, peer coaching and daily operations.
Communication will take place in person, over email and by phone with members of the Longhorn community.
Hourly Pay Rate: $11.10
August 2026 - December 2026, opportunity for renewal
Hours: 10-19 hours per week at an hourly rate of $11.10
Scheduling: Hours will be scheduled according to the Student Organization Center’s operating hours: Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. In addition to scheduled shifts during business hours, students should expect to work evening hours (typically between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) on an occasional basis to support workshops, events and student organization activities held outside of the standard schedule.
