Job summary

University of Canberra is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Business Operations to join the Student Connect team. You will support student enrolments, international student compliance, fees, scholarships, sponsorships, academic progress and course completion activities.

You will work with Faculties and external partners to ensure accurate and timely support throughout the student journey. You will provide expert advice on enrolment, fee and progression matters, coordinate the Academic Progress

Qualifications

• Experience in student administration in higher education.
• Ability to interpret policy and apply procedures consistently.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills across diverse groups.
• Clear communication and ability to advise on complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and coordination across student administration functions.
• Collaborate with Faculties, professional units and external partners to support students.
• Oversee enrolment, fee charging, scholarships, sponsorships, academic progress and course completion processes.
• Manage progression information in the Student Management System and adjust outcomes accordingly.
• Coordinate offshore and sponsored student enrolment and fee charging with Partnerships Office.
• Contribute to business process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
