Job summary

The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business seeks an Associate Director, Advising Operations and Academic Planning, to lead the operational infrastructure supporting student progression, degree completion, and course management across undergraduate and graduate programs.

You will supervise scheduling, student records, degree audits, and reporting, partner with the Registrar’s Office, Office of Graduate Education, Alumni Engagement, and other campus partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
• Experience in academic operations, registrar functions, scheduling, advising systems, student records, or program administration.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and process management skills.
• Experience using Excel, Airtable, Banner, Slate or similar systems preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred in Higher Education, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead advising-related systems, administrative workflows, and student/course management processes.
• Oversee scheduling coordination and related administrative infrastructure.
• Respond to course scheduling issues, questions, and process needs.
• Supervise the MOS Coordinator.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Partner with advising leadership to align course availability with student needs.
• Manage the review and approval process for non‑degree student course requests in Slate.
