Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Student Operations Associate for the Office of the Dean in the College of Medicine. The role supports events and space planning, including setup and teardown of furniture and equipment at Hamilton Hall and other buildings.

The position handles general admin tasks such as data entry, emails, inventory, and file organization, with a focus on dependable, detail-oriented work. 7–12 hours per week; starts Autumn 2026; temporary/ fixed term.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU.
• Must have a high attention to detail, be dependable, have the ability to lift up to 50lbs, and the ability to move between buildings and spaces over extended periods of time.
• Previous customer service, events, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Requires successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support Events and Building Coordinator and space planning team at the College of Medicine.
• Assist with setup/teardown of venue furniture and equipment at Hamilton Hall and other College buildings.
