Job summary

East Mountain High School is seeking a diligent Student Operations Assistant to support daily school operations and student services. The role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced educational setting and facilitates meal programs, transportation coordination, field trips, inventory, and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high service standards. Must have Work-Study Award and be enrolled at UNM.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM.
• Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters.
• If Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student meals, track counts and prepare distribution materials.
• Support transportation logistics for daily routes, activities, and field trips.
• Plan and prepare for field trips and school events.
• Maintain inventory systems for supplies, equipment, and program materials.
• Support facilities operations and space readiness for activities.
• Process paperwork for purchases, reimbursements, and operational requests.
• Input and verify data using spreadsheets and school information systems.
• Troubleshoot minor technology or equipment issues.
• Filing, scanning, shredding, and document organization.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
