Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in McKeesport, PA is seeking a Student Nurse Tech (Future Registered Nurse) to support nursing care on a PRN/Per Diem basis. You will assist with vital signs, daily living activities, and basic nursing tasks while gaining hands-on experience and aligning with NCLEX requirements.

The role requires current enrollment in an ADN or BSN nursing program, proof of year-one completion, and BLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• This position requires enrollment in an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
• Must provide proof of completion of first year/fundamentals of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care.
• Turn and position immobile patients and aid mobility.
• Deliver meals and document oral intake.
