Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Wichita is seeking a Student Nurse Tech (Future Registered Nurse) in Wichita, KS. This per diem role supports nursing education with real-world clinical exposure and NCLEX-aligned experiences.

You will participate in vital signs, daily care, and basic procedures under RN supervision. Required to be enrolled in an ADN or BSN program with completion proof of the first year/fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited nursing program; proof of first year/fundamentals completed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographics.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Assist with urinary catheter removal, finger-stick blood sugars, bladder scans, urine/stool specimens, ostomy care, drainage tubes.
