Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Student Nurse Technician (Future Registered Nurse) to join our team on PRN/Per Day Shift, 12-hour shifts. This role offers hands-on experience aligned with nursing education and NCLEX preparation while supporting a busy inpatient post-ICU setting.

You will participate in an extensive orientation and have opportunities for advancement as you demonstrate your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing school (ADN or BSN program).
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and aseptic practices.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and demographic data.
• Assist with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, etc.).
• Assist with catheter removal, finger stick blood sugars, and specimen collection.
• Turn immobile patients safely and support mobility.
• Transport patients to treatment centers.
