Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA is seeking a Student Nurse Intern (SNI) to support the Emergency Department under RN supervision. You will participate in planning and delivering care, collaborate with patients, families, and the care team, and help with basic nursing procedures within the scope permitted by your program.

This role requires active enrollment in an accredited RN program, with specific semester completion, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire/transfer.
• Crisis intervention training required within 60 days of hire/transfer.
• Enrollment in RN program with progression requirements (ASN by 3rd semester, BSN by 4th).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with patient, family, and health care team under RN supervision.
• Formulates plan of care with input from patient and RN.
• Maintains Skills Checklist and ensures competency validation.
• Assists with bedside care and selected nursing procedures as directed by RN.
