Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families; CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse, engages in tasks and activities to obtain and report information to assist the nurse in assessment, planning and evaluation of patient needs and response to treatment.
• Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse, performs technical duties and selected treatments and activities contributing to safe and efficient patient care.
• Assists in the care of patients with attention to safety and diversity, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
• Communicates professionally with patients, families and staff; covers the BA desk in the absence of the BA as directed.
