Job summary

Pinelake Church, Clinton Campus, seeks a Lead Student Pastor to shepherd High School, Middle School and 56 Ministry students, developing servant leaders who Learn from Christ, Live in Christ, and Lead others to Christ.

You will recruit and equip a team, plan gatherings and retreats, collaborate with the Family Pastor and schools, manage budgets, and provide pastoral care while advancing the Clinton Campus mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of three to five years of related experience and/or training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex documents and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Disciple and lead students toward a growing relationship with Jesus.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of servant leaders to engage High School, Middle School, and 56 Ministry students and families.
• Work with student ministry colleagues centrally and across campuses to align with Pinelake’s unified vision for student ministry.
• Facilitate the planning, oversight, and evaluation of all components of the student gatherings, including serving as the primary communicator.
• Creatively plan and promote events and opportunities for student engagement and growth, such as retreats and summer camps.
• Lead the development of student small groups in alignment with Pinelake’s small group strategy of discipleship.
• Develop relationships with area high school and middle school campuses and be present through in‑school visits.
• Prepare and manage the budget for all student ministry under the oversight of the Family Pastor.
• Engage students in local, national, and international missions experiences.
• Be a prayer champion for the families and students of Clinton.
• Provide pastoral care to those in need.
