Job summary

Shepherd of the Valley is seeking a dynamic Student Ministry Coordinator to lead ministry for grades 6-12. You will engage students through weekly worship, creative social media, and a thriving small-group model, coaching leaders, and shaping a welcoming community.

This role requires a recent college grad with a theological background, strong relational skills, and the ability to plan events, communicate effectively, and manage volunteers. Weekend and evening commitments are part of church life.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree with a theological focus.
• Experience as a small group leader.
• Organization and planning skills required.
• Writing and communication skills required.
• Proficient with technology: Google Workspace, Canva and Church Community Builder.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and execution of weekly student worship services.
• Participate in planning and execution of fellowship and faith formation events.
• Build and develop volunteer teams and student leaders.
• Serve as a key communicator for student ministry.
• Guide creation of visual and creative elements.
• Support social media campaigns and engagement.
