Shepherd of the Valley is seeking a dynamic Student Ministry Coordinator to lead ministry for grades 6-12. You will engage students through weekly worship, creative social media, and a thriving small-group model, coaching leaders, and shaping a welcoming community.

This role requires a recent college grad with a theological background, strong relational skills, and the ability to plan events, communicate effectively, and manage volunteers. Weekend and evening commitments are part of church life.

  Summary

  The Coordinator of Student Ministry provides support for student ministry programs. This ministry-minded and relationally-driven position is responsible for contributing to and implementing ministry programs for students in grades 6-12. This role requires relational skills, a heart for students, and a genuine desire to help students find their place within the life of the church.

The person in this position should demonstrate a relationship with Jesus Christ and have clear alignment with the Shepherd of the Valley statement of faith found at sov.church/about/mission-beliefs. This person must have a passion for the small group model of discipleship for students and have gifts in relationship building, coaching, and encouragement. This position requires work on holidays, nights, and weekends.
