Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Ohio is seeking an entry-level Donor Field Marketing intern to support campus outreach and blood drive campaigns. You will help build brand awareness, recruit new donors, and develop partnerships with community organizations.

The role is a campus-oriented internship with opportunities to learn campaigns, events, and reporting, under the Manager Donor Field Marketing. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program.
• Less than 1 year experience; marketing outreach or event leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospects and networks to continually add new, productive blood drive opportunities.
• On-site recruitment as needed; hosts sign up tables and supports event drives, including some evening/weekend hours.
• Create community awareness and development through social media outreach and relationship building.
• Provides education and support for mission awareness; prepares and conducts presentations to community groups.
• Develops and maintains relationships with community organizations and advocates.
• Works with marketing/communications to identify blood drive programs and supports defined strategies.
• Meets project timelines, maintains contact information and follows up as needed.
• Maintains customer service standards of the department and Versiti; communicates clearly with customers and donors.
• Collaborates with team members and supports department goals and compliance requirements.
