Job summary

Versiti is seeking energetic, creative, and motivated Sales and Marketing Students for a part-time role in Columbus focused on building local awareness at OSU campus. You will source donor stories, organize community events, and promote blood drives with strong content creation and social media support.

Ideal candidates are juniors/seniors or grads studying communications, PR, sales, marketing, journalism, or related fields. On-site role with potential evening/weekend events, training provided.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or currently enrolled in college/university; related internship or entry level experience.
• Pursuing studies in communications, public relations, sales, marketing, journalism or related field.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop local content by connecting with Columbus (OSU) area blood drives to identify donor stories and visuals.
• Engage community networks through outreach to faith groups, civic associations, student clubs, and neighborhood networks.
• Draft short, engaging copy for social media posts, event spotlights, and newsletters; contribute story leads to PR/communications.
• Assist with distributing flyers, hanging posters, attending events, and hosting tabling events to boost Versiti’s presence.
• Coordinate with Ohio PR & Social Media team and Donor Marketing for a consistent brand voice.
