A leading organization is seeking a Student Lifecycle Marketing Contractor to enhance student engagement and drive leads. This role involves creating and executing marketing campaigns, collaborating with teams, and analyzing performance metrics to improve effectiveness. About the Role

Duration: 3 months, 40 hours/week
Reporting to: Senior Director, Student & University Marketing
Compensation: $85,000 to 110,000 (annualized salary)

As the Student Lifecycle Marketing Contractor, you will play a pivotal role in driving student leads, fostering engagement, and nurturing prospective and admitted students throughout their journey. You will develop and execute marketing campaigns that leverage email, SMS, Slack, and other student-facing channels to ensure that college students recognize CodePath as the leading organization for technical excellence, mentorship, community, and industry access.

Key Activities
Campaign Strategy and Execution
Create and execute marketing campaigns that drive student acquisition, retention, and engagement for CodePath's no-cost computer science courses and early career programs
Develop marketing toolkits and outreach assets (e.g. email templates, social graphics, slide decks, and talking points) for partners, outreach managers, and campus ambassadors to support localized recruitment and drive enrollment
Manage audience segmentation, targeting strategies, campaign logic, and digital deployment to ensure personalized communication
Marketing Ops
Collaborate with a team of admissions logistics contractors to ensure smooth execution and optimization of recruitment funnel and admissions campaigns
Create and manage marketing automation. Manage the student communications calendar, overseeing nurture and trigger streams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the Student & University Marketing team to mobilize CodePath's network of brand ambassadors, student clubs, and university partners to build student communities, facilitate courses on campus, and drive student enrollment
Analytics and Optimization
Analyze marketing performance metrics and generate reports. Use response data and test results to optimize marketing programs for improved effectiveness. Forecast, track, and report on campaign effectiveness and KPI impact. Continually seek out new opportunities to move the needle against primary KPIs
Analyze the size, value, cost, and attribution of leads from different sources to inform marketing strategies and ensure accuracy of the student database
Use customer insights to create new audiences based on data
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in B2C lifecycle marketing, email marketing, and/or marketing operations, preferably in EdTech or related fields
Strong experience leveraging marketing automation to make a meaningful impact on team effectiveness. Deep Hubspot experience
Proven track record of developing and executing integrated B2C marketing campaigns
Strong analytical and data skills with the ability to craft robust A/B tests and provide deep insights
Strong communication and writing skills. Can work with copywriters and agencies but also able to dive in and develop the messaging yourself
Familiarity with marketing tech stack tools and a natural curiosity for emerging tools and technologies to improve marketing performance
Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment. CodePath operates more as a tech startup than a traditional nonprofit
Focused attention to detail and ability to multitask, handling multiple complete, multi-phase projects at different stages
Nice to haves:
Technical proficiency or domain expertise in student and campus marketing is a plus
