Job summary

Motlow is seeking a Temporary - Student Life Associate to support Nashville State Community College student life initiatives. You will help create a welcoming student experience, assist with programs and maintain an organized Student Life suite.

The role requires high school completion, at least 12 hours per week, and willingness to work some evenings and weekends to support peak enrollment and events. Experience in an office or higher education setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends, particularly at the beginning of academic terms and at other times to support student enrollment and department events.

Responsibilities

• Create student photo IDs, manage and order photo ID supplies and troubleshoot photo ID technology as needed.
• Greet and direct students in person and over the phone.
• Manage inventory of office materials.
• Monitor the department email inbox, answering questions and forwarding messages as necessary.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming environment for students inside the Student Life suite.
• Support Director of Student Life in College programming initiatives and take ownership of programs when appropriate.
• Assist with a variety of special projects and reports, including supporting other offices and campus-wide events.
