Job summary

Nevada State University is hiring a Student Worker - Student Life Assistant to support the Office of Student Life in fostering student engagement and campus involvement. The role offers meaningful interaction with students and collaboration with multiple departments to build a vibrant campus community.

The position requires a enrolled student with a minimum 6 credits, a 2.0+ GPA, and US work eligibility. The role includes event support, social media projects, and hub operations at the Rogers

Qualifications

Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits.
Must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Serve as a peer coach for the Be Engaged Match Up program and guide students to campus involvement.
Plan and execute large-scale campus events with the Student Life team.
Independently manage projects such as social media, workshops and events.
Support the organizational development of student clubs and co-chair the Clubs and Orgs Council.
Enhance operations of the Student Involvement Hub and assist visitors at the Rogers Student Center.
