Penn State University Mont Alto campus is seeking a dynamic Coordinator to co-supervise up to six Resident Assistants and oversee daily operations for housing up to 210 students. The role requires live-in status and includes weekend, night, and evening hours through May 2027, with transition to another campus thereafter.
The Coordinator will partner with the Director of Student Affairs to support student development, supervise staff, plan programs, and promote safety across campus housing.
Student Affairs at Mont Alto Penn State is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the team as a Coordinator. The Coordinator will be responsible to the Director of Student Affairs for co-supervising a staff of up to six Resident Assistants and overseeing the daily activities of buildings housing up to 210 students. The position includes weekend, night, and evening hours and is a live-in staff position. The role will be based at our Mont Alto campus through the end of the 2026–2027 academic year (~mid‑May 2027) and will transition to another campus location beginning the next academic year (~mid‑July 2027).
A degree or higher in Student Personnel/Counseling or a related area is preferred. Applicants should possess a thorough understanding of the role and purpose of residence hall living as it applies to student development.
Minimum Education and Experience (depending on solicitation level)
This position requires PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and a valid driver’s license with motor-vehicle record check.
The salary range for this position is $44,628.00–$71,340.00. Penn State provides a competitive benefits package including comprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and a 75% tuition discount for eligible employees and qualified spouses and children.
