The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a candidate for a Housing Services Coordinator for the Housing Assignment Office.
The Housing Assignment Office manages on-campus housing at University Park for over 15,500 residents. The Housing Services Coordinator provides customer service to current and prospective students and their families. This position will perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.
It is essential that the candidate have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to use good judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential information, be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and thrive in collaborative settings, building strong connections across various roles and backgrounds. The successful candidate must have excellent skills utilizing Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Normal work hours are on-site, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with additional evening and weekend work required as necessary for Housing and Admission events. There is an opportunity for a limited flexible work arrangement with this position.
Associate Degree; 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted. Required Certifications: None.
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $38,300.00 - $55,500.00. Salary structure and benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, holidays, vacation, sick time, and a generous 75% tuition discount for employees and eligible spouses and children.
