Job summary

Nevada State University invites applications for the Student Worker - Student Life Activities Board Leader. The student worker will support the Student Life Activities Board, a student-driven group that plans and executes campus-wide events to foster a vibrant campus culture.

The role involves budgeting, coordination with campus partners, and helping lead promotional efforts. 19.5 hours per week at $12.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be in good academic standing with GPA ≥ 2.0.
• Enrolled in 6+ credits current or upcoming semester.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Creative, proactive, and flexible for events.

Responsibilities

• Plan large- and small-scale events for campus life.
• Track and manage annual Student Life Activities Board budget.
• Provide excellent customer service to students and vendors.
• Meet with the Student Life Activities Board Advisor for development.
• Maintain receipts, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Prepare monthly expenditure and attendance reports.
• Create promotional items and marketing for events.
• Coordinate with NSSA student workers and campus partners.
• Support large campus events (Convocation, Commencement).
