Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for co-curricular involvement as part of the university experience (clubs and organizations, volunteer work, on campus employment, etc.).
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for indoor and outdoor recreation programming.
• Ability to work independently and as a team on a variety of complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver bi-weekly Fitness Center Liability Training for safe use of gym equipment.
• Collaborate with the Campus Recreation Coordinator to plan large-scale recreation events.
• Own marketing projects: social media, flyers, outreach, and tabling.
• Enhance Campus Recreation by leading programs and guiding students in activities.
