Job summary

Angelo State University is seeking a Student Assistant-Library, Research and Instruction to support research services in the Library, both in person and online, and to staff the Research Station.

You will guide students in locating sources and using library databases, assist librarians with learning tools for library instruction, and participate in collection management projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
• Must be classified as a Junior, Senior or Graduate Student
• Effective listening, written, and verbal communication skills
• Dependable, well organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide Research Assistance in person and online while staffing the Research Station.
• Guide students on how to locate sources and navigate the library databases.
• Assist librarians with updating and changing learning tools for library instruction.
• Work with librarians on Collection Management projects.
