Responsibilities

• Book and Periodicals check-in, circulation duties (shelving, holds, checking in and out materials), inventory duties (scanning, shelf reading), mail delivery and moving equipment and supplies.
• Customer service duties at the library information desk (answering phones, providing guidance, directions and answering questions).
• Opening and closing of the library on evenings.
• Light cleaning and Special Projects.

Additional Expectations

• Must be willing to work evenings.
• Must be able to maintain schedules in a consistent manner.
• Must have the ability to work with faculty, staff and library patrons in a public service environment.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Education

Typically requires a high school diploma/GED.
