Job summary

Cornell University’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration seeks a Temporary Student Learning Center Operations Coordinator to oversee the Marriott Student Learning Center’s daily operations. You will manage space, service quality, and a student workforce to deliver a superior student experience.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication. It is a full-time, four-month on-site position in Ithaca, NY, with an hourly rate of $31.47–$35.00.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Marriott Student Learning Center with emphasis on service quality and space utilization.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise student employees.
• Coordinate academic, recruiting, conference, and event space needs with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for operational, facility, technology, and service inquiries and escalations.
• Collaborate with library, IT, facilities, and events teams to ensure seamless delivery of resources and support.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and student experience.
