Job summary

Alpha is hiring on-site across Dallas, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Austin, TX; and Fort Worth, TX, to lead Guides who coach students beyond traditional classroom learning. You will run life-skills workshops, coach teams, and use data to improve student outcomes weekly.

Alpha emphasizes leadership, resilience, and independent mastery of skills, supported by day-one health benefits and relocation assistance. Compensation is competitive at six figures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or a related field.
• Experience leading a team of five or more adults with hiring/termination authority.
• Sustained responsibility for learning, behavior, motivation, or growth of children ages 5-14.
• Track record building or growing a program, team, school, or initiative from the ground up.
• Ability to use performance metrics and data to diagnose problems and drive results.
• Willingness to work in a school rejecting traditional pedagogy.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Guides to deliver Alpha's coaching model with consistency and high standards.
• Lead life skills workshops covering communication, focus, feedback, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students.
• Use performance data to identify coaching opportunities and drive improvements weekly.
• Lead motivation sessions to help students own ambitious goals and achieve them.
• Manage your own student cohort and model coaching excellence and accountability.
