Job summary

Alpha hires Guides to implement a transformative coaching model for K-8 learners. You will mentor Guides, run life-skills workshops, and analyze metrics to target improvements across cohorts. This role centers on coaching excellence, not direct instruction of academics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or related field.
• Experience leading an ongoing team of five or more adults, with authority to select and terminate.
• Sustained responsibility for learning, behavior, motivation, or growth of children aged 5–14 in a relevant setting.
• Track record of building, launching, or growing a program or initiative from the ground up.
• Proven ability to use performance metrics and data to diagnose problems and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coach Guides to implement Alpha’s coaching model with reliability, enthusiasm, and rigorous standards.
• Facilitate life skills workshops addressing communication, concentration, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students.
• Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to pinpoint coaching needs and drive weekly improvements.
• Oversee your own student cohort while modeling coaching quality and accountability.
• Establish a coaching culture where students excel academically and develop resilience and leadership.
