The Finance Department at ISO New England is responsible for safeguarding and growing the company’s assets while ensuring compliance with audit requirements, generally accepted accounting principles, and the highest ethical standards. The team establishes and maintains financial policies and procedures that keep the organization running smoothly and responsibly.
As a Finance Intern, you’ll support the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting activities. You may help prepare analysis, review financial information, support reporting needs, assist with reconciliations and journal entries, and contribute to month‑end close processes. Your work will give you a practical look at how finance teams use data, controls, and analysis to guide smart business decisions.
Your contributions will help strengthen the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of ISO New England’s financial operations. By supporting budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and accounting activities, you’ll help the finance team maintain disciplined financial management and provide insights that support critical business decisions. The expected hourly range for this position is $19-$36 per hour, depending on your year in college. Interns are eligible for some paid time off benefits and have access to our wellness program. Our internships also provide interns with exposure to the energy industry, mentorships, and real‑world experience.
This is a U.S. based role. If the successful candidate resides outside of the U.S., relocation will be required.
To be eligible for an internship with ISO New England, a candidate must have completed at least the first year of college and be currently enrolled in a four year or graduate-level academic program. Candidates must have the authority to work in the US on a permanent basis, without requiring sponsorship.
