Entergy is seeking a engineering intern to participate in Reactor Engineering, Design Engineering, Systems & Components, or Engineering Plant Support activities. You will engage in day-to-day tasks such as data analysis, document preparation, and cross-functional teamwork on deadlines.
Ideal candidates are enrolled in a relevant engineering degree (sophomore or higher) with a 2.8+ GPA, strong analytical and communicative skills, and proficiency with MS Office.
Supports the Reactor Engineering, Design Engineering, Systems & Components or Engineering Plant Support department by participating in the day to day activities of the group. Assignments are made for specific tasks based on the needs of the department, which includes but is not limited to data analysis, walk-downs, preparation of documents, engineering tasks, preparation of documents, etc.

Minimum education required of the position Candidates must be actively enrolled and pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in Nuclear, Electrical, and/or Mechanical Engineering for the duration of their internship.
Minimum experience required of the position Some work experience beneficial but not required
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position General business and accounting knowledge. Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills. Must be proficient in MS office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational skills. Strong and positive team attitude and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work and to handle multiple tasks. Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment. Selected candidate must meet access authorization and fitness for duty requirements of a nuclear power station.
