General Description:
The Application Administrator coordinates requests for data with administrative staff and technical experts to ensure data extraction, transfer and loads to third party vendors in support of teachers leading to student achievement. Coordinates instructional applications with the Department of Instruction, and Executive Directors for Elementary and Secondary Schools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent blend of relevant academic training and substantial professional experience equal to a four-year post-secondary degree.
At least three years of information systems background focusing on application management and cross-functional coordination with technical personnel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sedentary Work: Lifting or pushing up to 10 pounds occasionally, with minimal physical exertion needed to shift items routinely. Primary functions require extended periods of sitting, communicating verbally, listening, and utilizing hands and fingers for routine computer and office equipment operations. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and bending may occur. Close vision capabilities are necessary for operating digital displays, reviewing written documentation, and carrying out meticulous data entries accurately.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties are conducted in a standard educational administration office environment with negligible exposure to physical dangers or hazards. Tasks take place within temperature-regulated facilities offering appropriate technological tools. Duties demand strong attention to detail, punctuality regarding timeframes, balancing competing priorities, and frequent collaboration with district personnel, administrative leaders, and external software vendors to maintain student database integrity.
