Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a motivated Property Manager to oversee a student housing community. The role focuses on occupancy, financial performance, onsite staff leadership, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

You will lead daily operations, hire and train onsite teams, drive occupancy, manage budgets and reporting, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies. Weekend and emergency availability are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management, with tenant relations success.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day property operations and maintain financial performance.
• Hire, train, and supervise onsite leasing, maintenance, and support staff.
• Drive occupancy through leasing and marketing strategies.
• Manage budgets, expenses, rent collection, and financial reporting.
• Oversee resident relations, conflict resolution, and retention efforts.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and capital improvement projects.
• Plan move-ins, move-outs, and turnover activities.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours needs as required.
