Job summary

Student Quarters is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to assist the General Manager with daily operations and strategic leadership of the community. You will oversee staff performance, leasing, budgeting, and risk management to deliver outstanding service and resident retention.

The role emphasizes on-site supervision, staff training, and collaboration with the General Manager to meet financial and occupancy goals, while maintaining a safe, well-maintained property.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of property management experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management: Manage high-quality on-site staff through recruitment, training, coaching and development.
• Strategic Leasing Management: Maintain product knowledge, show/lease/move in residents, implement sales and marketing plans to maximize occupancy and income.
• Financial Management: Assist in budgets/forecasts, convey data to Regional Director, monitor rent collection and statutory compliance.
• Customer Service: Promote resident retention and ensure excellent service; maintain preventative maintenance program; follow up on service requests for satisfaction.
• Administration & Risk Management: Perform quarterly inspections, communicate incidents and liabilities, upkeep offices and buildings, perform other duties as assigned.
