Job summary

The Los Rios Community College District seeks a staff assistant to support Health Center operations under the Dean of Student Health & Wellness Centers. You will assist healthcare professionals, provide basic first aid, maintain health and office records, and help orient students to program resources.

You will also answer questions about center operations, handle emergencies with triage, process clerical tasks, assist with interviewing and intake, and supervise temporary staff as needed,

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a public or private health agency, physician's office or volunteer health agency.
• Education must be from an accredited institution.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff assistant support for Health Center operations and assist healthcare professionals with daily tasks.
• Answer questions regarding operation of the Health Center and assist in intake processes; maintain confidentiality of health records and office materials.
• Receive emergency calls, perform triage, assist nurses with emergencies, and administer basic first aid; render routine health care and order supplies.
