Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s UnitedHealthcare unit seeks an Associate Service Account Manager who coordinates student health plan enrollment, waivers, and billing issues. You’ll partner with university departments and campus events to deliver accurate guidance and excellent service.

The role is on-site in Philadelphia, full-time, with training and a structured 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare or medical insurance operations, including claims processing, benefits verification, enrollment, provider services, or related functions.
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications.
• Must be located within 25 miles of any of the office locations.
• On-site, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with university departments to ensure smooth processes throughout the insurance plan year.
• Coordinates administrative aspects of bid processes for USHIP and optional plans.
• Maintains enrollment and waivers tracking for student health insurance.
• Interfaces with university customers to present positions clearly.
• Provides walk-in and telephonic customer service support to students and staff.
